Children's and Families Worker for
St Andrew's Church, West Tarring
As part of our mission of growth, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Christian
who has a desire to proclaim the gospel to children, young people and families as a member of our
ministry team, and to lead work with children and young people.
Alongside the Parish Priest, you will be responsible for the leadership and direction of the youth and
children’s ministry developing and delivering services for young people within the life of the church,
including:
- Taking a positive and dynamic lead in supporting and developing work with children, young people
and families, through a planned program of work and related activities, including trips away to
appropriate event camps. - Offering activities for children and young people within the Parish and elsewhere assisted by a team
of volunteers. - Developing and delivering strategies for evangelism and biblical discipleship for children, young
people and families.
Salary: £23,000. Hours: 37.5 per week. 5 weeks holiday a year.
Accommodation is available within the Parish subject to negotiation over rent.
