Job Title: Youth & Students Pastor

Reporting to: Generations Pastor

St John’s Crawley, an HTB Network Resource Church, is looking for a contagiously passionate follower of Jesus to lead our ministry among youth and students, both within our congregation, its church plants and in the community.

The exceptional person we are seeking will equip and encourage a volunteer youth ministry team and take a hands-on lead in the discipling and pastoring of youth (those at secondary school). They will also spearhead a new outreach ministry with students from local colleges.
We believe God’s Word and the Holy Spirit can transform individuals and communities. The post-holder will have daily personal experience of the transforming presence of God in their lives and will be passionate about enabling a younger generation to grow in their faith and experience of Jesus.

You will have a strategic role to play in the strengthening of key transitions of youth from children’s work and then into colleges, whilst ensuring the best possible relationships between youth, students, and the wider church.

The post comes with a pro rata salary of £24,000
