St Ethelburga’s Church, St Leonards on Sea

We are seeking to appoint a part-time (15 hours a week) Families and Children's Worker to join us in 2025.

We are looking for someone who loves Jesus Christ, whose lifestyle reflects the Gospel, has the ability to teach the bible to children and who has a heart for families and young people.

The role would involve:

Helping us to make disciples of local families and young people.

Developing our Sunday ministry to children including at our monthly Messy Church.

Helping with the ministry to our local church primary school and being ready to help us develop a new lunchtime/after school club.

About us:

St Ethelburga’s Church is a small evangelical Anglican church in St Leonards on Sea. We have an average Sunday congregation of around 50 adults and 4-8 children, a flourishing monthly Messy Church, a midweek toddler group and excellent relations with St Leonards CE Primary Academy.
